In 2018 I was the segment's first UX designer; today I lead the 16-person organization that grew in its place, spanning product design, UX engineering, and research. I hired every researcher, and we built the design system from zero.

What I believe

AI features earn their place through user validation, not hype. Our researchers gate every AI product the portfolio ships. AI hands everyone the simple work of design while the bets that matter still come to UX, so the design org's new job is to pave the paths, hold the taste, and connect the dots. Design organizations that build their own leverage (synthetic research grounded in real data, intelligence tooling, humans and agents working together) will outrun those that only add headcount. And the design org of the future stands on three legs: design, engineering, and research, sharing one infrastructure.
